Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. Please allow me to introduce myself and to share with you some information about myself and my activities as a lawyer.

Studies

I graduated from the ELTE Faculty of Law in Budapest, and also spent time studying in St. Petersburg and Paris. In addition to my studies at Eötvös Loránd University, I was also a resident and student of the Bibó István Vocational College, where, almost two decades ago, I met my wife, who now works as a corporate lawyer.

I obtained a postgraduate degree from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. I fell in love with the legal profession while studying at university, and spent my student years working as an intern, and, after graduating, my time as a junior associate with various well-known law firms (Hidasi and Partners, Nagy & Trócsányi, Krasznai & Kollár, Lehner) where I learned the tricks of the trade.

Areas of expertise

I established the Law Firm of Wagner & Wagner in 2010. In addition to Hungarian, our office also represents clients in English, Russian and French.

At all times, I put the interests of my clients above all else, making full use of the professional experience and network of contacts I have acquired over many years of practising, in the fields of both criminal and civil law. Numerous law firms in the English-speaking world use the slogan “Clients First”.

I consider these two simple words to be my guiding principle in the legal profession.

How we work

Client focus is the cornerstone of our business. We concentrate on the resolution of the client’s problem, and we do not give up until the problem is solved. We treat all of our clients equally, with each and every one receiving exactly the same high level of service.

We do not discriminate against our clients in any way whatsoever. All of the staff in our office are well prepared and up to date with both the laws and the affairs of our clients.

For us, reliability also means that our clients can rely on the fact that we are always available for them, and we always return their calls.

Furthermore, reliability means that we consider it important for our clients to be aware of the legal steps being taken in relation to their cases. Whenever we receive any correspondence on behalf of a client (e.g. documents from the courts, other lawyers, the police etc.), it is forwarded to the client, usually by email, immediately or no later than 1-2 days.

The bottom line is that I consider it to be extremely important that the client is always in the loop. This is one of the major foundations of the trust we build up with our clients.

Press and publication

Since establishing the law firm, I have regularly contributed legal articles to one of Hungary’s most widely-read weekly magazines, published by the prestigious publisher RingierAxelSpringer. In addition, as the lawyer of the art and culture quarterly publication, Premier Magazine, I have contributed longer articles of a legal nature.

Location

My office is located in the Óbuda Gate Regus office building, in the heart of the city centre, on the banks of the Danube, on the Buda side, a few steps from Margaret Bridge. We share the office building with companies such as Google Hungary or L’Oréal. Our office is easily accessible by car and public transport.
